MARK HASON * DANNY WRIGHT * PREETI SHRIVASTAVA
Mark Hason For over 15 years Mark Hason has served as Producer and Creative Director for many of the entertainment industry’s top musical artists, record labels and television broadcasters. His marketing and production expertise has been the driving force behind a wide variety of properties for industry leaders such as MTV (The Grind), Arista Records (as Senior Director, Office of The President reporting directly to Clive Davis), J Records, Jive Records, and Tommy Boy Music as Executive Producer/Video Commissioner. Mr. Hason has produced music videos and contributed to marketing campaigns for such musical legends as Alicia Keys, Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Backstreet Boys, Run DMC, Michael Bolton, Naughty By Nature, House Of Pain, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, Fat Joe, and Busta Rhymes, among others. His marketing vision contributed greatly to the successful 10 volume series “MTV Party To Go,” and the sales of over 3 million units of “ESPN Presents: Jock Jams.” Mr. Hason is President of the production and marketing company MediaVision Intenational (MVI), which recently partnered with Reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee to produce the genre’s first ever nationally televised concert event. Prior to that, Mr.Hason worked as Creative Producer helping launch the ground-breaking and highly popular Urban Latin music and lifestyle show “The Roof,” a daily two-hour live music and entertainment program that aired nationally on NBC’s Mun2 Television, and on Telemundo International. In addition, MVI recently produced music videos for Wyclef Jean featuring Reggaeton legend Tego Calderon, Latin Hip-Hop icons The Beatnuts, and a two hour live concert DVD for Dominican supergroup Aventura. Prior to his successful career as a television producer, Mr. Hason taught English as a Second Language for the State University of New York and the City College of New York. Mr. Hason is a graduate of Columbia University where he earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in English writing. He also attended the New York University Center for Digital Multimedia and the City College of New York Jazz Performance program where he studied with legendary Jazz bassist Ron Carter and performed with the CCNY Small Jazz Ensemble.
Danny Wright Danny Wright contributes a wealth of experience in the entertainment industry. He has worked with a list of today’s best known entertainers including Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Maxwell, Run DMC, Ace of Base, Naughty by Nature, The Fugees, and Erykah Badu. While with Arista Records as Director of Artist Development, he took on the task of creating strategic marketing initiatives, and online campaigns for some of the industry’s biggest stars. Following that, Mr. Wright was appointed as Senior Director of New Media Marketing where he developed Arista’s exciting new internet strategy. Before Arista, his marketing skills were put to work as the head of the video promotions departments for Universal Records and began his career at Columbia Records. At those companies he handled a large variety of national accounts to maximize exposure for his artists. Mr. Wright has tremendous personal contacts with every major record label, and has a client list that includes Viacom, iTunes, AOL, Yahoo, MSN and MP3, NFL, NBA, MLB, Converse and among others. Currently, as Partner and General Manager of MediaVision International, LLC Mr. Wright utilizes his exceptional experience as a marketing and branding executive conceptualizing and delivering strategy for aligning corporate brands with the entertainment industry.
Preeti Shrivastava Preeti Shrivastava is currently the President and CEO of the Shrivastava Media Group (SMG). She started the company in 1997 upon completion of film school in New York City. Being the youngest person in her class to graduate at the age of 16, she idealized the company as a place where young professionals could break into the industry. Ms.Shrivastava began her career as a music video director for independent artists at the height of the ska revolution in popular music. Over the past nine years, she has grown her company from a film and video freelance service to a media production and consulting company offering film, video, television, music, multimedia and public relations productions and services. Ms. Shrivastava has been featured in Videography Magazine and on the JVC website for her music video and production work. She initially funded her company by modeling for various designers in Hawaii, Paris, New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami, and continues to work as a part-time model. Her professional associations range from the National Association of Broadcasters to the Recording Academy, and her past speaking engagements have included events for NAB and Harvard University. Ms.Shrivastava is a graduate of American University's School of Communications and at her current age of 24, holds a MBA degree from Boston College's Carroll Graduate School of Management. The Shrivastava Media Group is headquartered on the East Coast in New York City and on the West Coast in Los Angeles, and has satellite locations in Washington, DC, Miami, and Philadelphia.
